Basketball Recap: Slippery Rock Takes a Loss

Slippery Rock and Oakland Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Slippery Rock had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 80-29 loss at the hands of Oakland Catholic. The game marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Slippery Rock is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-8. As for Oakland Catholic, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

Slippery Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakland Catholic, they will take on Elizabeth Forward on Wednesday.
