Basketball Recap: Choctaw Takes a Loss

Choctaw and Putnam City North squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Choctaw had to settle for second. They fell 59-52 to the Putnam City North Panthers. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 77-56.

Choctaw's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Putnam City North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Choctaw nor Putnam City North have any future games scheduled.
