Basketball Recap: Samueli Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Glenn last Friday, Samueli Academy came back down to earth. The Firewolves lost 54-30 to the Woodbridge Warriors on Friday. The Firewolves were down 48-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Samueli Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Woodbridge, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Samueli Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saddleback at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026. As for Woodbridge, they will take on Loara in a tournament on Monday.
