Anaheim is 9-1 against Century since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Anaheim Colonists will host the Century Centurions at 3:00 p.m. Anaheim's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Anaheim is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Kennedy on Tuesday. Anaheim might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Kennedy an easy 4-1 victory. While losing is never fun, the Colonists can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 164th).

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Century's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Neither they nor Whittier could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Centurions happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3rd.

Century's draw makes their record 6-2-1 this season. As for Anaheim, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-3.

Anaheim came up short against Century in their previous meeting back in February, falling 3-1. Can Anaheim avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
