Baseball Recap: Georgia Military College Comes Up Short

Georgia Military College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Brentwood War Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to them when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Georgia Military College saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Griffith, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lantz Holton also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Georgia Military College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgia Military College will face off against Covenant Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brentwood, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Glascock County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
