Softball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral lost against Grandview back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolverines lost 8-2 to the Wolves. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaparral saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keegan Freitas, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Grandview, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Chaparral will head out to challenge Smoky Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grandview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Holy Family at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
