Football Recap: Animas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Animas and Elida squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Animas had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 63-7. The Panthers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Cason Norman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 190 yards and four TDs on only nine carries for Elida. The Tigers are undefeated when Norman posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Animas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Elida, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Animas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elida, they will square off against Grady at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bronchos' defense has only allowed 10.7 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
