Soccer Game Preview: Torres vs. Elizabeth

Torres has gone 9-1 against Elizabeth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Toros will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Torres has given up an average of 4.3 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Torres is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Marquez on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gladiators, falling 6-0. Torres have struggled against Marquez recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth hadn't done well against Sotomayor recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Wolves.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything went Torres' way against Elizabeth in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as Torres made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Toros have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
