Soccer Game Preview: Poway vs. Mt. Carmel

The Poway Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Poway's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Westview.

Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 8. They and Mission Hills finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Mt. Carmel's draw makes their record 10-8-3 this season. As for Poway, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-2.

Poway came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Carmel in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Poway since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
