Basketball Game Preview: Governor Mifflin Mustangs vs. Twin Valley Raiders

The Governor Mifflin Mustangs will square off against the Twin Valley Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Wednesday, Governor Mifflin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-47 to Cedar Crest.

Meanwhile, Twin Valley came up short against Cocalico on Monday and fell 48-35. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Governor Mifflin's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. As for Twin Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Governor Mifflin took their victory against Twin Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 57-32. Will Governor Mifflin repeat their success, or does Twin Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
