Softball Game Preview: Worth County Rams vs. Crisp County Cougars

The Worth County Rams will venture away from home to take on the Crisp County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Worth County's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five games, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Worth County fell victim to Bacon County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Raiders.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Crisp County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Fitzgerald on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Purple Hurricane a 10-0 shutout. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Purple Hurricane recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Crisp County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Worth County couldn't quite get it done against Crisp County when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 8-4. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
