Football Recap: Benilde-St. Margaret's Takes a Loss

Benilde-St. Margaret and Grand Rapids squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Benilde-St. Margaret's had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Thunderhawks and fell 54-7. While losing is never fun, the Red Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Thunderhawks are ranked 34th).

Benilde-St. Margaret's moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Grand Rapids, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
