Soccer Game Preview: Lompoc vs. Righetti + Official Tickets

The Lompoc Braves will challenge the Righetti Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lompoc's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lompoc fell victim to Paso Robles and their airtight defense on Tuesday. 2026 welcomed they with a 4-0 loss courtesy of the Bearcats. While losing is never fun, Lompoc can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 700th, while Paso Robles are ranked 161st).

Meanwhile, Righetti gave up the first goal on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a goal and slipped past Pioneer Valley 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Righetti.

Claire Consorti was the driving force of Righetti's attack as she scored both of Righetti's goals, bringing her season total up to 16 goals.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Lompoc, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1.

Lompoc came up short against Righetti in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
