Franklin piles up the points against Rosemont

Recap: Franklin Wildcats vs. Rosemont Wolverine

The Franklin Wildcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-13 victory over Rosemont on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-11.

Franklin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tasiana Carr led the charge by scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laela Matteo, who scored 15 points.

Franklin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rosemont, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Franklin will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Grant at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Grant has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 342 points over their last five contests. As for Rosemont, they will be playing at home against Ponderosa at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ponderosa presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rosemont in California (Ponderosa is ranked 253rd, while Rosemont is ranked 824th).
