The Georgia Military College Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Brentwood War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Georgia Military College is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Georgia Military College turned things around against Wilkinson County on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 17-0 shutout. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 18th (when they won 17-0).

Maddie Elder made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Elder was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August of 2024.

In other batting news, Blakely Blackwell was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisyn Wood, who earned one RBI and two runs.

Georgia Military College always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Brentwood came out on top against Edmund Burke Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The War Eagles put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering the War Eagles have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brentwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Vaughn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Tabitha Davis also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Georgia Military College's record now sits at 9-12. As for Brentwood, their record is now 15-1.

Georgia Military College suffered a grim 17-2 defeat to Brentwood in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
