Soccer Recap: West Valley Has No Trouble Against Pierce

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Valley walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Pierce Bears on Thursday as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Pierce with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marlee Byxbe, Logan Carruth, Aubree Wertz, and Kylee Jaramillo.

The win made it two in a row for West Valley and bumps their season record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Pierce, their loss dropped their record down to 8-9.

Coming up, West Valley will square off against Orland at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something West Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
