Basketball Recap: Saegertown Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Saegertown won the last time they faced Commodore Perry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saegertown Panthers came out on top against the Commodore Perry Panthers by a score of 50-42.

Despite the defeat, Commodore Perry saw an underclassman step up: freshman Eastin Post dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. Post has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jazlyn Boyles, who posted six points.

Saegertown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Commodore Perry, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Saegertown will take on Calvary Baptist Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Commodore Perry, they will challenge Cranberry Area at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
