Preview: Willow Glen vs. James Lick
The Willow Glen Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the James Lick Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Willow Glen has three straight wins, James Lick has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Wednesday, Willow Glen kept a clean sheet against Independence. They came out on top against the 76ers by a score of 2-0.
Addison Morefieleld was the driving force of Willow Glen's attack as she scored both of Willow Glen's goals. With that big game, she's now up to six goals this season.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for James Lick's offense. They were the victim of a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of Prospect on Wednesday. James Lick has struggled against Prospect recently, as their match on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Willow Glen has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6-3 record this season. As for James Lick, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-2 record this season.
