Las Plumas had won four straight games and Ava Hepworth did her part to make it five on Friday. The Las Plumas Thunderbirds managed a 39-34 victory over the Yreka Miners thanks in part to Hepworth, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 23 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).
