McNair piles up the points against Linden

The McNair Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 77-21 blowout they got at home against Linden. That looming 77-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for McNair yet this season.

Despite the loss, Linden still got an impressive performance from Jackie Mercer, who scored ten points. Mercer scored a full 47.6% of Linden's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

The victory makes it two in a row for McNair and bumps their season record up to 3-9. As for Linden, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McNair will square off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Linden will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Chavez at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th. Hopefully Chavez focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Tuesday.
