Softball Recap: Nolan Catholic Comes Up Short

Nolan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Dallas HSAA Red Blue Angels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Rylie Patterson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Nolan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Nolan Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against Prestonwood Christian on the 7th. As for Dallas HSAA Red, they will face off against Grapevine Faith Christian at 5:15 p.m. on the 16th.
