Morse's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-9. As for Santa Fe Christian, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-13.

Everything came up roses for Morse against Santa Fe Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 66-12 win. In that contest, Morse amassed a halftime lead of 38-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
