Baseball Game Preview: Lawton Blue Devils vs. Coloma Comets

Lawton is 1-6 against Coloma since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Blue Devils will host the Comets at 4:30 p.m. Lawton has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Lawton after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 14-4 to Marcellus.

Berrien Springs hit Coloma with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets fell just short of the Shamrocks by a score of 6-5.

Lawton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Coloma, they now have a losing record of 14-15.
