Homestead entered their tilt with Lakeside Lutheran on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The Highlanders were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Highlanders were just returning the favor.

Homestead's offense was headlined by Reese Lalonde and Anya Mikhailenko, who picked up seven kills apiece. Mikhailenko really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Kennedy Klueger controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Lakeside Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-20.

Homestead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Dominican on the 4th. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Union Grove on the 4th.
