Basketball Recap: Jurupa Hills Takes a Loss

Jurupa Hills lost against Palm Springs back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jurupa Hills Spartans took a hard 42-27 fall against the Palm Springs Indians. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palm Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eiresslee Wells out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 boards. The dominant performance also gave Wells a new career-high in steals (six). Shayla Bates was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Jurupa Hills' record now sits at 7-13. As for Palm Springs, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jurupa Hills will welcome Rim of the World at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Palm Springs has already played their next contest (against Palm Desert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
