Softball Recap: Sioux Center Comes Up Short

Sioux Center fell victim to Unity Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sioux Center's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Unity Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Sioux Center will face off against Okoboji at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Unity Christian, they will challenge Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
