Baseball Game Preview: Monadnock Huskies vs. Conant Orioles

For the second straight game, Monadnock will face off against Conant. The Huskies will head out to challenge the Orioles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Monadnock has 21 straight victories, Conant has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Monadnock is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Conant, who was ranked 17th at the time (Monadnock was ranked second). The Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orioles on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-2. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Huskies have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Monadnock's win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Conant, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
