Basketball Recap: Blair County Christian's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Calvary Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Blair County Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Gabi Dull. The Blair County Christian Bobcats managed a 24-19 victory over the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors on Friday thanks in part to Dull, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Despite the defeat, Calvary Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Olivia Mills almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 19 boards.

The win made it two in a row for Blair County Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Blair County Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-24 victory against Great Commission on the 21st. Calvary Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 55-29 win against Centre County Christian Academy on the 21st.
