Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. Lincoln

Lodi is 0-8-2 against Lincoln since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lodi Flames are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lodi is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Kimball on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Flames were the better team in the second half.

They hit Kimball with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophie Sloan, Jocelyn Maldonado, and Samantha Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, Lincoln kept a clean sheet against West on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wolfpack with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Trojans have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 11-2-3. As for Lodi, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-3.

Lodi might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lincoln in their previous matchup on January 10th. Can Lodi avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
