Baseball Game Preview: McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers vs. Jenkins County War Eagles

McIntosh County Academy is 2-8 against Jenkins County since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will challenge the War Eagles at 5:30 p.m. McIntosh County Academy has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McIntosh County Academy lost 11-3 to Screven County on Thursday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jenkins County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Portal by a score of 6-3 on Friday.

Chandler Cates was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Jenkins County's record now sits at 5-14. As for McIntosh County Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

McIntosh County Academy couldn't quite finish off Jenkins County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
