Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Covenant Classical

Calvary Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 69-8 loss at the hands of the Covenant Classical Warriors. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-2.

Elijah Knarr was nothing short of spectacular for Covenant Classical: he posted 17 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Knarr a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Miles Miller, who scored 11 points.

The win snapped Covenant Classical's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Covenant Classical, they will square off against Sheets Memorial Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
