Volleyball Recap: Owyhee Falls Short Against Ranked White Pine

Owyhee faced White Pine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Braves fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. The Braves have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Owyhee sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 15-5.

Owyhee's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for White Pine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Owyhee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Battle Mountain on the 22nd. As for White Pine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 22nd.
