Basketball Recap: Liberty Charter Comes Up Short

Liberty Charter played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 39-17 to the Castle Park Trojans. The Lions were down 34-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Castle Park got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ahliah Samaniego out in front who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Leilani Roche, who had nine points.

Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Castle Park, their record now sits at 5-8.

Liberty Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 29-24 victory against High Tech Mesa on the 9th. As for Castle Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 44-11 win against Guajome Park Academy on the 9th.
