Basketball Recap: Constitution Comes Up Short

Constitution was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 36-11 to the Penn Treaty Wovles. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wovles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Aliyah Rogers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Penn Treaty, going 8 for 16 on her way to 19 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Rogers has scored at least a third of Penn Treaty's points. Malayah Brown was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Constitution's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Penn Treaty, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Constitution wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-11 defeat against Parkway Center City on the 16th. As for Penn Treaty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-36 win against Mastery Charter Hardy Williams on the 21st.
