Volleyball Recap: Fruitdale Comes Up Short

Fruitdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Washington County Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Fruitdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Washington County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Fruitdale and Southern Choctaw will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Washington County, they will square off against Bayshore Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
