Baseball Recap: Mason Takes a Loss

Mason lost to Saline back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 6-2 to the Hornets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Saline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-7.

Mason and Saline should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 32nd) will meet East Lansing (ranked 231st) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Saline will challenge Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (21 vs. 100). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 3.2, the Kicking Mules 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
