Basketball Recap: Hickory Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Hickory extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kimora Roberts. The Hickory Hornets skirted past the Grove City Eagles 45-43 thanks in part to Roberts, who went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points along with eight boards and three blocks. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played.

Mya Odem was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Hickory is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Grove City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Hickory will face off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grove City, they will take on Fort LeBoeuf at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
