Softball Recap: Cedar Park Comes Up Short

Cedar Park came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-0 to the Leander Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

Cedar Park has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Leander, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cedar Park will challenge rival Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Leander is set to square off against their familiar foe Lehman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
