Rogers (Minn.) to a 41-24 defeat over
Big Lake (Minn.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Connor Henderson in the second quarter, the Royals were up 13-10 at the half.
Rogers grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS scored four times in the third, including once on a Bloom touchdown run.
With the win the Royals extended their winning streak to seven games. Rogers defeated Monticello 66-27 last week.
When the two teams played each other last season, Rogers came away with a 38-15 victory.
The loss comes after Big Lake defeated Denfeld 34-12 last week.
Rogers (7-0) goes up against St. Michael-Albertville in a Mississippi 8 game matchup next week, while Big Lake (1-6) locks horns with North Branch also in a Mississippi 8 game.
