Arnold won the last time they faced Walton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Marlins walked away with a 9-4 win over the Braves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Marlins.

Ryleigh Pittman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Hayley Sexton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Laela Kern was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Arnold kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.

Arnold's record is now 14-8. As for Walton, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arnold will welcome Abbeville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walton, they will be playing at home against Jay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
