Concordia is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Chapman with a sharp 40-20 victory on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Clay Center was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 45-7 loss at the hands of Rock Creek. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 12, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Concordia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Clay Center, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
