It's playoff time, and Oakwood Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Central Christian Crusaders on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Trey Tindell spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Joseph Warland, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Ryan Phillips was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Oakwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Central Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
