Baseball Recap: Schley County Comes Up Short

Schley County lost against Harris County on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Schley County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Harris County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schley County will welcome Chattahoochee County at 5:30 a.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Harris County, they will host Eufaula at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
