Softball Recap: Portal Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Portal had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 6-0 to the Wheeler County Bulldogs. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The win got Wheeler County back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Portal will be playing at home against Burke County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler County, they will take on Johnson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
