Burroughs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hoover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will head out on the road to take on the Tornados at 5:15 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Burroughs is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Crescenta Valley on Tuesday. The Bears fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. Meanwhile, Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Muir.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-5. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went Burroughs' way against Hoover in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, as Burroughs made off with an 11-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
