Basketball Recap: Arroyo Takes a Loss

Arroyo was the 51-29 winner over South El Monte when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Arroyo Knights lost 44-21 to the South El Monte Eagles on Friday.

Arroyo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for South El Monte, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Gabrielino the next time they take the court. South El Monte will host Gabrielino at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Arroyo will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
