Softball Recap: Moore Takes Down Ranked Chandler

Moore faced Chandler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Moore came out on top against Chandler by a score of 7-2. That's more bragging rights for Moore, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Moore is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Chandler fell to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Moore will head out on the road to square off against Lone Grove at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chandler, they will welcome Latta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
