Bennington put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Gothenburg Swedes get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory.
Bennington got a great performance from Addi Kapple as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Brooklynn Fitch and Maren Hogan did most of the damage at the plate: Fitch went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hogan went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
