Preview: Wabasso vs. Bethlehem Academy
Both Wabasso and Bethlehem Academy have made it this far into the playoffs, but they square off this Saturday to determine who is worthy to move on. Wabasso has been tearing up the end zone with big points in its last four contests.
Wabasso can now show off ten landslide victories after its most recent game. The final score between it and New Ulm Cathedral last week was a 48 - 6 blowout in Wabasso's favor.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Clair last week, sneaking past 14 - 12. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Bethlehem Academy after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.
Their wins bumped Bethlehem Academy to 7-3 and Wabasso to 11-0. Of course, Bethlehem Academy and Wabasso can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Saturday which team falters and which extends its success.
