Softball Recap: Spencer Comes Up Short

Spencer fell victim to North Union and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for North Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Spencer has already played their next game (against Emmetsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Forest City on the 20th.
